Alteplase (Actilyse; Activase), a tissue plasminogen activator prepared by recombination, is a thrombolytic agent that play important roles in acute ischemic stroke, pulmonary embolism, acute myocardial infarction, and occluded catheters.
The product size below only indicate the effective content of Alteplase. The ratio of Alteplase effective content : total content = 1:46-1:50. The actual ratio depends on the batch.)
Alteplase (8.3 and 250 μg/mL, 12 hours) shows a significant reduction in activity in human fetal retinal pigment epithelial cells (hfRPE cells).
Alteplase (8.3 and 250 μg/mL, 0-6 hours) significantly reduces transepithelial resistance and induces cell death in a time-dependent manner in hfRPE cells.
Alteplase (0.9-10 mg/kg, intravenous injection, 20 to 40 minutes after onset or 180 and 240 minutes after onset) is beneficial in thromboembolic stroke mice when administered early after stroke onset (<3 hours), but not beneficial if administration is delayed (≥3 hours).
Room temperature in continental US; may vary elsewhere.
