Pacritinib Citrate
Code: SB1518 Pacritinib Citrate is an oral, selective small‑molecule kinase inhibitor targeting JAK2, FLT3, ACVR1 and IRAK1. It is distinguished from many conventional JAK inhibitors by its JAK1‑sparing profile.
The JAK2 signaling pathway drives abnormal proliferation of hematopoietic cells and inflammatory cytokine release in myelofibrosis. Pacritinib Citrate blocks JAK2 (including the JAK2 V617F mutant), FLT3 and related kinases to suppress malignant cell growth, reduce spleen enlargement and alleviate disease‑related constitutional symptoms. It was approved under accelerated approval for adult patients with intermediate or high‑risk primary or secondary myelofibrosis who have platelet counts below 50 ×10⁹/L.
This compound is also being evaluated for other hematologic malignancies in preclinical and clinical research.
